In the past five years, Saokim Pharmaceutical has produced over 100 different products, including drugs and functional foods.
- Medications: tablets, film coated tablets, hard capsules, powdered, nuggets, mixed powder, wrapped pellet dissolved in the intestines, suppositories, egg-shaped.
- Functional foods: effervescent tablets, granulates, green tea.
Product quality: The factory has a strict quality control system from raw materials to finished products. In the last two years, in particular, there has been a lot of improvement in product quality as well as the quality of human resources, technical equipment and factory system have also been upgraded:
+ Due to the producing tablets, hard capsules using raw materials from Europe and America combined with fast disintegration orientation, so the absorption time are shorten, increased the treatment effect.
+ Hard capsule cover: Transferred from gelatin capsule to HPMC capsule (eg Macromax SK® capsule). Advantage: Increasing the solubility of Azithromycin compared to conventional gelatin capsules by about 20% contributes to the bioavailability of the drug.
+ Suppositories: Materials are transferred from crystalline to micronize, increasing the contact area of the drug at the site of absorption leading to increased absorption should increase the effectiveness of treatment. For example: Paracetamol (Colocol® Suppo 80, 150), Metronidazole (Fastgynax®),
+ Some active ingredients are unstable with temperature and humidity, gastric irritation like aspirin formed of intestinal pellet to enhance the stability of the drug, reduce the possibility of gastric irritation and increase the absorption ability of drugs in the small intestine.
+ Effervescent tablets: There is a separate functional food production line that meets the standards and is granted the certificate of "Food safety and hygiene" and orientation to achieve food-GMP in the near future.

+ The suppository line is the first system in Vietnam that Saokim Pharma directly ordered from Italy.
+ Fluidized bed dryer and granulator: capable of fast drying and granulating, capacity of 100kg/batch. There is also the possibility to create film-coat and pellets.
+ Extruder and pellet granulator: pellet diameter of Ø0.8 - 3mm, capacity of 50kg/hr depending on particle size.
